Feature · The Tape

The study room.
Where screen time becomes reps.

Athletes watch film. Most traders just check their P&L. The Tape puts every trade you've taken on a real chart, draw what you saw, grade it honestly, and run replay drills with the outcome hidden. Every rep pays XP, and every review makes your System smarter.

Review

Your trade, back on the chart

Pick any trade from your timeline and it opens on the chart where it happened: entry, exit, and the bars around them. Mark the levels you saw (and the ones you missed), write the thesis, and grade it against your own setup's rules. Your drawings save with the trade, so the lesson is still there next month.

  • Real drawing tools. Levels, trendlines, zones, fibs, notes, a proper markup rail, not a comment box.
  • XP on every saved review. Wins and losses pay the same; the rep is the point.

The Trade Log

Your whole book, in a command center

Every trade lands in one command center: a live band of the numbers that matter up top, a dense, scannable log below, and a details panel that opens the trade you tap. Grades render as the same hex you earn everywhere, so a glance down the column tells you how clean the week really was.

  • The numbers up top. Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, average R, and your execution grade, live.
  • One Edge number. The share of your trades that ran in-plan, tracked toward your next rank.

The Drill

Replay the session, outcome hidden

Reading a chart after the fact is easy; the right edge was always obvious. The Drill replays a past session bar by bar with the future masked. You mark it up, make the call: long, short, or no trade, and only then does the tape roll forward. It's the closest thing to live reps without risking a tick.

  • No hindsight allowed. Your call locks before the reveal.
  • Drill any setup. Pick a play from your book and grind reps on exactly that pattern.

The payoff

Every review teaches your System

Reviews don't pile up in a drawer. Each one is distilled into the dossier of the setup it touched: when that play works, when it fails, which confluences actually mattered for you. Executed trades and drill reps are kept separate, never blended, so the evidence stays honest. Tomorrow's read is built on top of all of it.

  • Your corpus, growing. Worked examples accumulate per setup, with provenance.
  • Closes the loop. Study feeds the System; the System sharpens the Read.

The System learns from this
Works best after a displacement leg into the zone; first touch only. Fails when the retest arrives on climbing volume, and your last three C-grades all broke that rule.

Losses pay the same XP as wins. That's deliberate. The most valuable rep in your week is the honest review of a trade that went wrong, so the grader rewards the rep, never the outcome. You can't level up by cherry-picking your winners.
